Experienced Areas

I am interested in anything creative from architecture to photography. I started early with those little multi coloured lego bricks. I loved creating things from those simple building blocks. The web is the same, using knowledge of web standards, interaction models and usability practises to build fantastic graphical websites; full of useful tools and information that are easy to use and find.

Building on my design skills at University with an Interactive Multimedia degree I gained knowledge and experience with a a wide range of design and development techniques. I was able to apply this in a range of freelance projects. I have a passion for accessibility, interaction, usability & web standards. I also am passionate about photography. I developed this passion privately and have gained Adobe & Fuji certified training; which have allowed me to get photographs published in corporate promotional materials, branding and advertisements, personal and commercial canvases and for galleries (online and studios). Areas of interest

I am always interested in seeing how the web is evolving, introducing updated design and coding standards to allow more functionlity but be more accessible and more standardised across operating systems and browsers. Currently I am interested to see how HTML 5 and CSS 3 will develop and how they will be adopted by the industry. With new browsers being released, more can be done within them, however I also appreciate that it is important to offer the same functionality to those using older browsers, so they can get the same rich interaction and experience.

This interest has enabled me to gain various certified training (Adobe, Apple, Fuji, Microsoft etc.) with a range of software, which has encouraged new ideas & functionality. The experience of different studios & suites (fully functioning animation suite, media suite & photographic studio), has also fuelled creativity.
